We are entering a new era in IVF treatments: PGT-WGS, or Preimplantation Genetic Testing with Whole Genome Sequencing. By screening over 3,000 genes in embryos, we can now identify not only chromosomal abnormalities but also genetic disease risks. This test is particularly critical for cases where pregnancy cannot be achieved even with chromosomally normal embryos or in situations involving recurrent pregnancy losses. A simple cheek swab taken from the mother and father, along with a biopsy from the embryo, is used for evaluation. We are proud to be one of the first clinics in Turkey to implement this test. Our goal is to maximize the chance of achieving a healthy pregnancy.
