Reproductive Health and Metabolism Program
UNDER THE MEDICAL SUPERVISION OF OP. DR. SONER DÜZGÜNER WITH DIETITIAN PELİN ÖZSOY
This reproductive health program is a one-to-one process designed to support your metabolic balance and help you prepare more consciously for pregnancy. Your medical assessment and your nutrition and lifestyle plan work towards the same goal, and the process is shaped by your diagnosis, test results and needs.
- 1One-to-one program — Built around your own health history, diagnosis and goals.
- 2Weekly online session — Assessment, planning and Q&A are covered in the same session.
- 3Daily follow-up — Your eating pattern, action steps and symptoms are tracked regularly.
- 4Tailored to your diagnosis — Conditions such as PCOS, insulin resistance, endometriosis, low ovarian reserve and advanced reproductive age are assessed individually.
What does the reproductive health and metabolism program aim for?
The idea behind this program is simple: when planning a pregnancy, it is not only the egg and embryo that matter, but also the overall health of the mother-to-be. In our clinical practice, we see that excess weight, insulin resistance and related metabolic problems are among the main modifiable factors to address before pregnancy.
Our goal is not simply weight loss. First, we identify the medical and metabolic factors that may affect your reproductive health; then we build a sustainable roadmap that fits your needs.
With PCOS and insulin resistance, we aim to support metabolic balance, adjust lifestyle and address factors that can affect your cycle and ovulation. With endometriosis, pain and quality of life are assessed; situations that may require surgery, ovarian reserve and future pregnancy plans are reviewed together. When needed, we provide medical guidance on the timing of egg or embryo freezing.
With low ovarian reserve, the aim is not to promise a higher reserve. It is to interpret markers such as AMH, FSH and antral follicle count correctly alongside age and the clinical picture, to assess the timing of your pregnancy plan, and to optimise modifiable lifestyle and metabolic factors.
One-to-one follow-up in four steps
The program is more than a single consultation. It runs for one month with weekly online sessions and regular contact. After the initial assessment, your medical needs and your nutrition and lifestyle goals are planned together.
Initial assessment
We review your health history, current diagnoses, medicines and supplements, menstrual cycle, pregnancy plans, previous treatments, lab results and eating habits. If needed, an in-person examination or additional tests are planned.
Personal roadmap
Based on the doctor's assessment, a medical follow-up and, if needed, a treatment plan is created. The dietitian prepares a personal nutrition plan that suits your diagnosis, daily life and metabolic needs. For participants with excess weight, controlled and sustainable weight loss may be targeted where appropriate.
Weekly online session
Each week there is one online session. Using your own results, we discuss what is happening in your body, what your hormone and lab results mean, ovarian reserve, factors that affect egg quality and preparing for treatment.
Daily follow-up and communication
Your eating pattern, meals, symptoms and weekly goals are tracked. A WhatsApp group is used for daily communication and lifestyle follow-up; medical diagnosis and treatment decisions are made only in a doctor's consultation, in line with health regulations.

Different diagnoses, different needs
Every participant's health history, test results and pregnancy plans are different. That is why the content and follow-up plan are personalised after the initial assessment. If more than one condition is present, they are addressed together.
PCOS and insulin resistance
Diagnostic criteria, cycle and ovulation, metabolic risks, blood sugar–insulin balance, body weight and lifestyle are assessed together. The aim is to build sustainable habits without blame and without focusing only on the number on the scale.
Endometriosis, endometrioma (chocolate cyst) and adenomyosis
Pain, bowel symptoms and quality of life are addressed. The effects of the disease and of possible surgery on ovarian reserve are assessed; even for women not yet planning a pregnancy, timing for future fertility and, where appropriate, fertility preservation options are discussed.
Low ovarian reserve
AMH, FSH and antral follicle count are interpreted together with age and the clinical picture. The difference between egg quantity and quality is explained, and the possible consequences of postponing pregnancy and suitable options are assessed. Lifestyle and supplements are planned to support general health and treatment readiness — not with a promise to increase the existing reserve.
Advanced reproductive age
Age-related changes in egg numbers and chromosomal risks are explained in plain language. Current reserve, pregnancy goals, timing and, where needed, fertility preservation options are assessed individually.
Thyroid and autoimmune diseases
Thyroid function, current diagnosis and treatment, pre-pregnancy targets and nutritional status are reviewed together. Supplements are planned only according to personal need and the doctor's assessment.
